Wow, so many thoughts, so much information. I was thinking about the video tonight and the similar one from the Symposium. How does the technology train grow exponentially, while we're barely hanging onto the last car? Okay, maybe not hanging off the last car, but somewhere near where the caboose used to be. Trains don't even need a caboose in this day and age. I wonder how many of our students have ever seen one. What a huge task ahead! How do we change the culture, climate, context, and content of education? Who leads the effort? What does this effort look like? Where does it start? How do we integrate the best of the old and the new? How do educators overcome the techno learning/comfort gap? Who can drive the train from the front and not the rear? WE are the machine.
